Summer at Flanker

Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club in The Gateway is pulling out all the stops this summer with a number of appealing updates.

The Summer Cocktail + Mocktail Menu (Summer 2025): For starters, Flanker has rolled out an innovative new array of summer drinks, perfect for kicking back and cooling off with your crew. Highlights include the farm-to-glass “Garden Bliss” (Alpine Gin, Angel Vert Apéritif, St-Germain, Verjus Blanc, Strawberry-Basil-Honey Syrup) and the zero proof “Cucumber Mode” (Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic, Fresh Cucumber, Mint, Citrus).

“The Buckle” joins the Hidden Boot Saloon: The Hidden Boot Saloon is known for its immersive Wild West charm, and has generated buzz due to its themed drinks, creative décor, and mechanical bull. Now the venue is even bigger, and “The Buckle” offers its own charm while amplifying the Wild West theme. According to the Flanker folks, “This new extension of The Hidden Boot Saloon features the Ice Shot Bell. Guests take a shot in a frozen glass, then try to ring the bell. This fun, interactive addition to the Saloon remains true to its Wild West theme.”

Love Island Watch Parties with Themed Drinks (Weekly, kicking off at 7pm on 07/03): For fans of Love Island, it just got even easier to experience the villa vibes. Flanker will be broadcasting the latest episode each week at 7 PM, and accompanying it with themed beverage options. Activities and competitions will accompany each watch party, which include opportunities to win prizes.

Real Connections Slow Dating Mixers (Every other Tuesday): For those tired of dating apps, Flanker is proud to host a series of events that create a no-pressure platform for locals to socialize and connect. Flanker’s fresh bites and beverages add to the fun! The next event is 7-9 P< on Tuesday, July 22nd.

Days of 47 Rodeo Collab (07/22-07/27): The popular Days of 47 Rodeo is coming to Flanker, minus the live bulls and cowboys. During the rodeo’s duration, Flanker guests can win free tickets and enjoy a collaboration that aligns well with The Hidden Boot Saloon. Flanker has been awarding winners of their weekly mechanical bull riding tournaments with Days of 47 rodeo tickets. The partnership culminates this Saturday at 10pm, as the winners of this week’s #BuckOff mechanical bull riding tournament will take home the final pair of rodeo tickets.

Pie & Beer Day (07/24):  In honor of Utah’s Pioneer day, the Flanker team will be offering a tasty menu that doubles as a playful take on the name. These pie and beer offerings will be made especially for the holiday, and will accompany some light festivities. This creative event’s menu features hand pies and pie shooters.
